We help brands connect with new (Gen Z) buyers and retain existing customers

using our digital vouchers, rewards, credits and dashboard module.

Cashforward &
Simpling

The smart alternative to cashback and sampling promotions. A product-related digital voucher in advance. Direct discount at checkout. No hassle with receipts or anything afterwards. Measurable from A to Z.

Joint / Cross
promotions

Collaboration between different brands and retailers. Example: Buy a Philips espresso machine at Argos or Amazon and get a kilo of Douwe Egberts coffee beans for free at Tesco, Waitrose, Deliveroo, Ocado, etc.

Rewards &
Credits

Receive a gift (digital voucher) when you purchase a product. Buy credits and get an extra discount. Or receive a reward as a new or regular customer. Example: Download the Coca-Cola App and get a free drink at your supermarket.

Simpling in practise: Sprite Zero Sugar case at Plus Supermarkets

We have developed a first case with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and the Plus Retail media team in 2024.

A pre-selected target group of Plus customers has received a message via the e-mail newsletter to pick up a free Sprite Zero Sugar in the store. Plus App users have the unique code automatically connected to the customer card QR in the app. They just have to scan their loyalty card to get the product for free. Other customers use the unique QR code from the email.

Customers collect the product from the shelf themselves and scan the unique QR code from the email or the customer card QR code in the Plus app at the checkout. Customers only pay the mandatory deposit. See the demo video.

Q1 2025 available in all 550 Plus Supermarkets.

“One of the big metrics that brands are continually trying to chase is customer lifetime value. It’s not just about the initial product trial, but understanding the long-term value of customers acquired through specific retail media channels and first party data. Cashforward understands this like no other.”

Example: Postcode lottery "Enjoy the good"

It is already the 4th year that the Postcode Lottery is launching the "Enjoy the Good" campaign in collaboration with Unilever and Albert Heijn. Participants of the Postcode Lottery receive a Gift Card worth €12.50. This allows you to choose from a selection of 850 products at Albert Heijn to prepare your own vegetarian meal.

Intersolve is responsible for the technology behind the promotion.

The design is slightly different than with regular Cashforward promotions. With this promotion, consumers must first activate the gift card online themselves. A check is made on the last 8 digits of the gift card received and the last 3 digits of the bank account from which the Postcode Lottery makes the debit every month. There is another age check and then the gift card is active for use as a means of payment at Albert Heijn for one month.

Please note: this is an inspiration example. Cashforward & Simpling is not involved in this specific example.

“Every day, someone buys your product or brand for the first time. What is that experience like?”
